"I recently took my 15 year-old golden retriever to my veterinarian, Dr. C. During a routine office visit, she noticed that my dog's teeth really needed to be cleaned.

During the course of her cleaning, Dr. C found that two teeth were abscessed, one of which was also cracked. I had no idea that my dog was in such discomfort!

Over the last several months, I had felt that my dog was 'aging right before my eyes,' but nothing specific seemed to be wrong. Well, I am pleased to say that the cleaning, followed by a round of antibiotics, helped to return her to her old self again.
