About Us

Animal Hospital of the Rockies, LLC was founded in 1997 by Dr. Marie J. Cenac, "Dr. C." After spending summers here as a child, Dr. C was eager to return to the community.

Our original facility was located on Highway 34, near Rambo's Longhorn Liquor Mart. The practice grew quickly, however, and soon needed a larger home.

We moved to our current location at the end of 2001, and expanded to include the Animal House Boarding, Estes Park's finest boarding facility.

Today, the practice is owned by Dr. C and her husband, Mike Richardson, a local realtor. Daughter Alexis spends her preschool days with us, while son Nathan, who just started Kindergarten, is already a graduate of our mini-preschool.

This is truly a family effort, and we invite you and your pets to be a part of our family.
